Socialization is a constant factor in human nature especially that we are regarded as social beings. The English poet, John Donne, even stated in one of his poems that “no man is an island, entire for itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main,” which basically implies that interaction is something that we need to survive. Even for adolescents, group interactions and peer relationships have always been important factors in their overall development. Besides the usual classroom meetings and small discussions, the school believes that the students must be able to form bonds with each other so that they may create a better community not only at school, but also outside the premises.
The Student Council of Creative Middle School hosted its major event entitled, Dress to Impress: The CMS High School Night, where the students, in their best party attire, had the chance to bond with each other in a night filled with energizing music as well as exciting games and activities. The night was surely a memorable one since not only did the students get to unwind from their usual school routine but they also had the opportunity to practice their skills in socializing.
